更新履歴のTeXShop Changes 4.72の終わりの方に面白いエピソードが書かれている。
Since I write the Changes document, I feel free to use it as my personal blog. The rest of the text for 4.72 has nothing to do with changes and can be skipped. It is a short essay about the evolution of macOS in the last twenty years. I used to believe that the great times for macOS were from 2000 to July of 2011. This covers the start of macOS through Snow Leopard. After that, the iPhone and iPad became dominant and smaller minor changes were made to macOS. I'm about to argue that this view is wrong.
